Mr. Bearry traded the classroom for a front-row seat to my week. We made every day count, then brought the memories back to school.

Day one · Home base

Welcome home,
Mr. Bearry.

First stop: home. Mr. Bearry settled right in and got a front-row seat while I played Geometry Dash.

Day two · Manhattan Beach

Pier-side
fun.

Blue sky, ocean air, and one very photogenic bear. Mr. Bearry had a perfect beach day at Manhattan Beach Pier.

Day three · Venice Beach

Stories by
the sea.

We spread out a blanket at Venice Beach and slowed down for some reading time as the sky turned gold.

Day four · Baldwin Hills

Up, up,
and up.

Mr. Bearry joined me on the Baldwin Hills Steps hiking trail. We climbed, explored, and stopped to take in the view.

Day five · Grandma's house

One last
song.

We ended our week at the piano with Grandma. Mr. Bearry listened from the best seat in the house.
